I have no official dx, but GI thinks early CD. I just started on Budesonide to see if I respond. I've been having awful joint pain, which I know is not uncommon, but I don't know how to cope with it. The tramodol I take for my abd pain does not even touch...

Prednisone got rid of my joint pain but while I was tapering off of it it became are on Entocort, which is a steroid; have your calcium , magnesium and vitamin d levels checked.
After you stop.

Has anyone experienced severe arm pain while on Cimzia? I was on Entocort for about 7 years for my Crohn's. My Dr. changed it to Cimzia and slowly titrated me off Entocort after he started me on Cimzia. After I was off the Entocort I started having left...

And he will take me down from 2 Entocort to 1 Entocort on Feb if that would be what is causing....
Also, 7 years on a steroid??? My wife is on Entocort to skip the Cimzia shots for Feb.
But switched to her tummy and hasn't had issues yet .

I just got off a 5 month treatment of Entocort / Budesonide and I had some pretty nasty side effects. Including increased hair growth and I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced it and if so if it went away when you stopped the medication ...

It takes a few, this morning I ate my last Entocort for now! I started with 3 x 3 mg per day / 3 weeks, then 2 x 3 mg per day from Entocort except sweating....
With Entocort I never got side effects but everyone is different.

I went to the doctors office today and he really wanted to put me on entocort but sice i don't have insurance and apparently they stopped having the free plan on it they gave me lialda. Just wondering how this has effected people and Im a little worrisome...

Never had any adverse side effects, just stopped working after awhile....
Moved me to 2 Lialda a day to minimize the amount of pills I would need to take .
I was taking a ton of Asacol a day (8 or so pills) so the Dr .
I took Lialda for at least a year.

I stop all 3 drugs before starting Remi? The aza never did anything for me (and I had the test to make? Even though it didn't help the Cimzia.

I actually felt better when I stopped it.
I think I hit when I was on Entocort.
Carolhew, I was on budesonide (Entocort) from Oct '10 until April '11.
