Bald street tires vs new tires? Going to the track on sunday and i was just wondering if bald 225's will be stickier than new 215 all season tires? Currently have the bald tires on the pony (look like slicks) but i have new tires as well and was wondering...

Street Stock Tires I am running 255/50/15 BF goodrich T/A Radials right now. Our rules require a 60 series street tire. Is there anything better out there? Anyone use softener on street tires? Thanks in advanced...

They carry the DOT stamp on the sidewall Tires I can not run those.

I was curious to find out what is the best 60' you have seen a stang do on street tires? Not DR?
This guy on another thread said he has seen people put down 1.8's and some 1.7's on street tires and personally I have never seen it. Just curious.

Some consider et streets and drag radials street tires qt or nitto nto5r just plain ole street tires that come on your car from factory.
You may want to clarify "street" tires.

From my research it looks like I have to be in a prepared or modified class with race tires.

The tires have naybe 10-15 street miles on them no racing. the are basicly new. $325 281-948-1280 i would be interested in tradeing for some 15'' regular et streets.
Ill also trade for a new set of 26x8.5 slicks

Toyo Proxes R888 are pretty good.....
They do suck if you run into rain though.

I find my street tires do just fine for the fire roads I go down now.
Is the issue with that? Neither of the tires he listed currently has a correct tire size for our bikes.

I'm going to send out my SVTPP wheels to be widened to 20x11. Fronts are 19x9.5.
Looking for sticky rear tires for street use to hopefully allow full throttle in 1st gear with 580 wrhp.
