The fluid ends are constructed of an alloy steel,...

Hi guys
I have a question regarding crack control for flexure in prestressed slabs by limiting the increment in steel stress near the tension face. My code requirements limit this increment in steel stress for both bonded tendons and conventional reinforcement...
Answer Snippets (Read the full thread at eng-tips):
My increment in steel stress is 238MPa with an AS3600-2009 it is not stated in AS3600 anywhere, I am guessing that flexural crack width based on this increment of steel stress is 0.3mm based....

Are you adding poly like them to send you some material .
Interesting what is your welding process for a crack.
As the repair goes.

You can probably discern of its a crack by taking the bottom ....
Scratch or crack I cannot tell, but it is not normal.
Worst case scenario: they make you pay for a new bottom like new .
That part out of, resulting in a delayed crack.
