Curious to know your guys' neck size and wanted to see if anyone here used a neck harness?
My neck is 16" and I was thinking about purchasing a neck harness to help strengthen/thicken it. Is my neck small for my size?

Just about to start routing the neck pocket and shaping the neck on my JR Build. I've decided to put the angle on the tenon itself and have the pocket parallel to the top.
When I come to rough cutting out my neck and trimming the tenon to fit the neck...

You can call Phil and see if he would do something like a vintage neck but I've never seen a Barone bari neck with an octave vent of the vintage horn shops have....

Very strong neck (Ovangkol w/Wenge Fingerboard) so jazz-like, not as awful as a jazz neck but along those lines...mixed feelings...but I just got the 60th anni P and now....
The "weeping and gnashing of teeth" about that neck.

Strings: 10's but 9's are OK ....
Otherwise I prefer a thicker neck with a C shape, about .835 care.
Beer an' watch this! Thick C shape neck with 11's! '61 - '63 Gibson/Epi neck profile (original shape on my Strat (.835" at the nut).
