Did you go through the compression of the struts pre installation.
Fluid or dried up old fluid film on any strut, it should be replaced....as long as you can determine the fluid came from the strut....

My 1989 eldorado kind of jerks when i step on the accelerator , it doesn't really jerk when i step on it smoothly and soft tho so what could it be my motor mount or my torque strut the one on top is good between the radiator and the motor.

I brought the first torque strut mount back and....
About 7-8 months later I noticed the torque strut mount was very old and the bushing anything as opposed to what the bad motor mount felt like.
And it fixed everything.
