Long story short, Greta developed a bladder full of struvite stones. These were recently removed surgically. Obviously, prevention is a concern. My vet is of the opinion that a special (expensive) prescription diet from now on will accomplish this. Luckily...

My Tally had what we thought was a urine infection at Christmas and was put on antibiotics (Synolux) which she then reacted badly to, and was changed onto Baytril. Was drinking gallons and weeing everywhere.

It's just the crystals.
To dilute the urine and decrease the risk of struvite crystals forming so dont overly panic about full blockages, and no stones.
