I am a student with an old PowerMacG4. I cannot afford to upgrade my computer. I am wondering if it is possible to get an ArchiCAD student version for ArchiCAD 10. This is the latest version my computer will run.

If i buy the microsoft office home and student version 2010 can i upgrade to office home and business version 2010 for a lesser cost than normal? if it helps at all i am using the mac version ,but i dont think that really matters?

I have Office Home and Student Outlook.
I don't know specifically about the Mac version, but on the PC version MS has extended bundles for roughly the difference in retail price between the two.
