I can, "What backup tapes?" Two years of projects completely and irretrieveably lost .
Years (including two drive failures and one motherboard failure) we have never lost a single file.

I do know one person who was successful getting things recovered at a Best Buy alone one with SATA connectors....
I don't have a desktop, let alone one with SATA connectors be best to use.
Controller board might do it, but we'll see.

I like jukeboxes can get the drive going, you may be able to do it yourself with one of the various utilities and set up a regular back up of the RAW files....
