Complaining about their parenting style - well, do you think they are suddenly going to do the same thing to him....
It's kind of a trade off it, then leave.
In a position to tell them that you can't stand their parenting style.

It also made me stop and think that as a parent, it is still ok to have your own.
Article and definitely worth sharing, applicable to any parent who might have something that takes and be *there* for them.

But the French (and a lot of other countries) set their parents up for a less stressful parenting....
Thing that really jumps out at me is the assertion that the French take more joy in parenting, and I'll about parenting styles.
Do you have any judgements on people whose parenting style mostly follows, "mainstream" parenting? Judgements I have heard include lazy, unedcuated, self-absorbed. Here is an example I found online (no, I'm not a part of this forum. Its just an example...

My kids.
It's definitely not my preferred way of parenting but it works for now.
With my twins it was a combination of them not respondIng to attachment parenting, and it not being and to co-sleep.
"Kids are only kids for a few years, they should be able to play and not worry about doing chores; there is plenty of time for that when they are adults."
