Looking for a small cooler that will actually hold ice for a day. Have gone through the soft sided and standard varieties with no insulation in the cover. Anyone found one they like for day sailing?

I use a rectangular 22qt.
You could put the styrofoam on the outside too and wrap the whole thing in a big-ass blanket.
Store the new lid in the cooler after use - you'll get mold.

Again, it's the same idea as a 10 gallon cooler, except....
I'd put some insulation inside the lid too so.
Basically a giant DIY cooler.
Why shut.
I kept the original lid, so I can still use it as a cooler when I want to.
