Subway Maps does anybody know where i can find a geographically accurate map of the new york subway system? maybe something like this map of the tube in london?
i know the mta used to have pdf versions of the local maps in each train station available...

Me and my mother are going to New York in june. Our flight comes in at La Gaurdia. I dont want to pay for a shuttle or taxi. How hard is it to take the bus and subway from the airport to our hotel at times square with luggage? We arrive at 3pm on a weekday...

There you board the Manhattan bound N or Q at a map first and see what the closest station to your hotel is .
On the M60 bus and take it to the subway stop at Astoria Blvd.

With the Big Dig situation I feel our ability to get federal funds for a massive project would be challenging, for at least the next 20 years or more, especially with the population growth slowing in the north. Political might still exists up here, though...

I have yet to go around DC and take legitimate city pictures...but I was there on Thursday for a workshop at the Washington Post, and I shot some stuff of the Blue and Orange Line subway stations. I envy them, obviously .

It's still "blue line", I'm suprised people will just say "take the E" train and not "take the E World Trade." That's what the trains are called....
Crowfoot", and the train going south is called "Shawnessy", as per the last stop on the line.
