So Khadija is 1.5months now and my MIL wants to start giving her sugar and salt(a bit) water to her..I read up online that its not good for babies to have water or sugar water before 6months..so what shall I do? Any of you give/gave this to your kid? ...

All kinds of birds will visit a nectar feeder including Orioles and Red-bellied Woodpeckers.But since to said "sparows" House Finch fits the bill .
But not knowing your location, I could be wrong.
If I would have to guess, I'd say House Finch .

Usually only need 1 or 2 cups for 5oz extra water....
You can use the smallest amount of water that the sugar the smallest amount of water that the sugar will fully dissolve into.
To help it disolve but also to sanitize it.
