I have two pumps in my sump:
1) Primary pump is a 3/4 Wayne submersed pump.
2) Back up pump is a 1/2 HP Zoeller Aquanot pedestal pump that runs on battery power.
The discharge of the two pumps are connected with a "Y" so there is only one discharge pipe...

I have been trying to find an affordable way to have some sort of battery backup for the sump pump in our basement. A few years ago, the original pump and the secondary pump both failed during a wet spring, resulting in about $7000 in damage to the finished...

To get into it but I would deffo expect more than 2 stacks in the pump, a sump pan that wasn't in heating the oil up to operating temp as the dry sump pump will pull it away from the hot engine parts too's dth itb complete....

My sump pump currently pumps out a decent amount of water and it just pumps the water into my backyard which turns into a muddy mess. I have been thinking about having the sump pump water go into a waterfall and flow into a small pond. But I'm not sure...
