Sample Chatter Excerpts
Any Gardening Mommas out there?
Well, the good news is, you have to try pretty hard to really tick off the moderators. Mostly, they're just very helpful and graciously point out the rules when you've missed something. source
If not gardening, what about cooking then?
I don't like to cook, but have to, because I try to give the kids as much domestic cooking as possible, they eat out all the junk food anyway. I' m just bored of always cooking the same stuff, so Tam it wouldn't be such a bad idea if we start swaping recepies here. I mostly cook pasta, with minced meat, cheese, or tuna, and fry chicken, fish ocasionally. I love vegetables and the kids don't so it's always a war, I'd love to hear some new recepies with vegies. source
Wilderness gardening?
It seems to me you are seeking a low labor garden. I'm not sure how onions and tators will do once the weeds take over. I'm not so sure how any crop will do when it has to compete with the weeds and natural habitat, and critters. source
FARM Planned next year's garden yet?
I plan to make mine smaller, and with an abundance of weedblock fabric. My goal is a lot of food with a lot less work than previous years. source
Anyone garden?
There is a pretty cool website called GardenGirlTV , it has lots of short videos and ideas on sustatinable living in an urban environment. She has rabbits and chickens, raised beds, and even an aquaculture garden. source
