One of the biggest complaints about Superman Returns is that it felt like a giant retread of Superman I. With Zod as the villain in Man of Steel, will this movie avoid being a retread of Superman II?

Okay...thanks!! And the movie ended on a cliffhnager, when the missile he threw into space.
In the script, Superman simply manages to get to Lois before she's crushed/suffocated in the fissure.

This is most likely the first time in animation you see superman (not justice lords version) win against doomsday, Doomsday fights Superman head-on. The fight went on nearly forever, finally ending when Superman was able to beat Doomsday down and toss...
