We asked at our daughter's appointment on Friday if we could get a referal for a swallow study and they didn't give us one =(.
Just for a little history on her situation, she had open heart surgery at 1 month old with left her with a damaged left vocal...

As far as the swallow study, if you can't hardly get her to swallow, and I don't think a swallow study is going to give you more info about what is wrong with her vocal chords of aspirating....
That's frustrating as heck.

I dont know what my problem is. A few years ago, I started waking up in the middle of the night choking on my own spit. It's not just a little cough mind you, but its a total blockage of my airway for 5 seconds or so until I can manage to suck in half...

Very click is like a thump.
