My doctor doesn't think the swallow study results were accurate? It doesn't change my NPO status, I will be NPO either way because it is dangerous for me to have liquids in my stomach because I'll vomit and aspirate. What does a proper swallow study look...

Has anyone taken their LO for a swallow evaluation?? My 12 month old still does not want anything to do with textured foods. If she takes a bite of something she just automatically swallow & in turn she either gags or vomits....even if the food is too...

If what you're doing is similar, it's absolutely not as bad as it sounds .
It is-go ahead with the swallow study to make sure everything is working properly, but also ask swallow, when my son was 9-10m old.

Well, for starts....I would recommend consulting a GI Specialist and having an Upper Endoscopy done or at LEAST a Barium Barium enema

If you have study, 24hr Impedance study and PH study and Nissen Fundo and after still battling with ENT issues, had Barium ....
Then consult a GI Specialist to have Endoscopy and possible Manomatric Study, PH studies.
