For best results by hand, scholl have a 'white....
For removing swirls, they have S30 or S40 which can either be machine or hand applied.
Hi there....The CYC shop have just started to sell Scholl products, but not all are on their web site yet .

Realized after purchase that the previous owner used a scratch pad on the hood of the car. I don't think that the scratches went through to the paint (performed the highly technical fingernail test) but they ...

Not really, I just apply....
Do you ever have trouble with product slinging all over the place when using the edge of the pad? From the portion of the pad not in contact with the vehicle .
For small areas like those on a DA, I just use the edge of the pad .

When you work by hand you will be very hard pushed to remove....
I've not used this particular brand of products myself, however after doing some reading I would say that this is a filler product rather than removing the swirls and scratches.

I find it's a great product....
I vouch for SRP as well.
Failing that then you would need to machine polish it to get it back perfect .
It has fillers in it that can sometimes fill light scratches .
Have you tried autoglym super resin polish and elbow grease .

They are pointless.
I would never pay extra for dealerships swirl removal or scratch removal plans.
The paint looks so glossy.
You did a very nice job.
