My youngest daughter is almost 13 months old. Starting at 2 weeks old she started having bad colic and by 3 months had fallen off of the growth chart. (I did not think to take gluten out of my diet while breastfeeding her...

My youngest daughter had symptoms at birth although we didn't know that gluten was a problem until she was 15 months old so in my opinion it is entirely....
Is it really possible for a 2 week old to show signs of celiac's?

I had no idea I had Celiac.

My symptoms yet.
Parents who have kids with Celiac, but they do not, just might not be presenting symptoms yet.

Your blood results show both what could be considered a gluten sensitivity ('allergy') and IgA results that could definitely indicate celiac disease. You may want to consider doing the gene (allele) test rather than doing the biopsy. Check out enterolab...

The slow buildup of symptoms is definitely more typical of celiac than gluten intolerance.
That said, with your symptoms improving off.
All are specific for celiac.
And anti-endomysial IgA.

She has another AI disease already (thyroid),....
Doctor routinely checks people with celiac disease for Crohn's (and he did for me, since it is in my family) he seems to think they are related.

I'd like to post this discussion about Celiac Disease and to bring awareness on what it is and how it affects people etc. Now I don't suffer from Celiac Disease not that I know yet because things could change, buts lots of people do and may not even notice...
