As far as colon cancer most of the time these symptoms very seriously.
symptoms lean more towards diverticulitis,ibs/chrons disease.

It may take some time I started running, IBS made me feel like I couldn't do anything.
(This is even more complicated with IBS).

So the past week has been horrendous to my stomach. I've had 3 days of straight of having to go every 30 min to an hour...then on the 3rd day I noticed that my stools were black and tarry like...so I consulted the internet and all advice was to go straight...

From my understanding, IBS is a chronic problem but usually with milder symptoms than what....
I don't think that sounds like IBS.
Not sure if it's ibs...but my stomach has also been acting up lately...not quite as bad as yours.

Get a CA125 blood work done and request a CT scan .
symptoms and can be chalked up to IBS.

You have to be persistent it can take 3 GP maybe some over the counter medicines... .
Try not to give up - find out for yourself what symptoms flare up and then 1 dose daily does the trick.
I am now 60.
Diverticulitis and IBS for about 24 years.

I have not been formally diagnosed, yet -- but I just assaulted my toilet and my symptoms were messy so I think viewed that topic, and there is no answer there....
I got some IBS right now cause I just ate some ice cream after a few Amstels.
