I have an application settings page with a bunch of checkboxes. How should I choose the default checked state of the checkboxes?

Definitely Number 2.
Choose the state that the user most likely wants (or that causes least damage) and a text that is easiest to understand .
I see no reason why all checkboxes should be unchecked by default.
I'd choose 2.

Malwarebyte's is updated to the newest version.
The problem is when you right click the M icon on the taskbar, "WEBSITE BLOCKING' is unchecked.
I've done the procedure:

Here are a couple of ideas:
When tabs Bought and Needed load, filter them yourself by creating new collections with the items you want, or when tabs Bought and Needed load, override the list item databind and toggle visability based on Needed....

When I hit TAB for indentation of code, I like it to get a real TAB. Meaning that when I select that, I only have one large thing selected. Now NetBeans is inserting just 5x spacebar when I hit TAB. Can I change that? Where?

Or Ctrl + F12
Then uncheck Reuse current tabI don't know about Opera but in Chrome (and I think Firefox) you can open bookmarks in a new tab it in a new tab.
