May this thread serve as hub for queries on the tap, the flow is so low and the distance from the heater so great, you could run it for ten.

Have never replaced an element, but if the standoffs are the same height and the gaskets don't leak and the element is the same physical size and watt rating, why would the control board need replacing? Maybe I'm missing something basic here.. .

I'm not surprised the motor burnt out if your smoothies are too thick to pour out of a blender! I think you should be looking for a industrial-strength blender, food processor or possibly stick blender (although you'd likely burn the motor out of that... .

In my case, the intention is to use the appliance for plane flights and possibly of the CPAP, and I am reluctant to give that up! Maybe if I sleep well with just the appliance while camping, I will change my mind.
