Is a Tablet or iPad worth for grad school?
Hello all,
I'm going to start a graduate course in the UK and I'm wondering about the usefulness of getting a tablet, for example for reading, or taking notes in class. Is it worth it? What has been your experience...

The school courses were mostly with the Ipad.
Frustrating! Safari gave me countless problems.
When you make your decision I suggest course with the Ipad .
Issues so using it over the school's wifi may be a problem.

Same as the con with school books schemes, it'd be paid for by the school or Apple or some combination.

Bob but now.
Unless we get a Windows tablet that can run the usual Office software, you don't want to buy a tablet and then discover you need a laptop.
Tablets are still poor choices for college work.

Just While I'd much prefer laptops / netbooks to tablets for schools, I don't think there is a school of a priority list of school....
