How To Lose Weight While Taking Insulin I have not been able to lose weight and now that I am on Insulin I am gaining so quickly, if you have been successful in losing weight while on insulin can you share what you are doing? Thanks a bunch.

In the first two weeks i gained 3 pounds because i was told to take certain amounts of insulin at each meal the....
My goal was to reduce the amount.
Of taking insulin to cover my carbs, I ate carbs to cover my insulin.

Okay so im running insulin (humalog) at the moment along with my cycle of sust/ deca / var and so far absolutly fine no sides etc etc being very carefull with my diet after making sure im getting in fast acting carbs streight after and good solid meal...

With insulin resistance, the muscles don't hear the knock as well (they are resistant), and ....
The cells hear the knock, open up, and let glucose in to be used by the cell .
Of it as insulin "knocking" on the doors of muscle and fat cells.

prevention better than cure i would like to halt the rise and maybe reverse it a bit.

Presume it is a 24 hour basel....
If you take too many since taking 14 units at night to get the morning numbers down i have gained 8lbs in a year.
If you take too few unit, you blood sugar will run high.
And use insulin wisely.

Hey i got a question:
Would it be detrimental for my insulin resistance if i had a BIG meal every day for lets say 1500-2000 calories or is there absolulety no difference in making my body insuline resistant by taking 2-3 smaller meals for 750-1000 cals...
