Has anyone ever experienced flushing of the face while taking Lyrica? I take 150 mgs of Lyrica twice a day and I noticed today that my face was flushed with blotchy patches.
After taking Lyrica for a month or so, I dont experience many of the side effects...

Three weeks into Lyrica, 2.6 lbs up, and no change in pain level. I love drugs that have weight gain as a side effect and no effect on what they are prescribed for. My neurologist will get a call today.

EDIT: I forgot to ask; Do you take Lyrica often? You scripted it for any reason or you just just read reports of people taking 8+ grams of Lyrica and they lived, although they had to endure some!!! Re: LYRICA....

So just got home from my PM appt and he is starting me on Lyrica . He thinks I have fibromyalgia along with my rheumatoid arthritis. Any suggestions on Lyrica any experiences you can tell me? Thanks all!

I refused to take it because I gained a lot weight on other fibro meds.
I quit taking it 3 years agoGood Luck on it.
Thing Lyrica did for me was make me gain 40 pounds in 2 months.

I was just switched from Gabapentin to Lyrica. I was taking 2400 mg. a day of Gabapentin and Medicare said that was too much. My doctor has me on only 50 mg. 3 times a day for a week and then will increase as needed. Right now the Lyrica is not helping...

I had the same problem and had to quit taking both.
Lyrica works better than Neurontin, but scaredmom330 is right about the weight gain.

I couldn't take Lyrica but know plenty of people that do and have been on it for a long timeI think maybe you should go to the Lyrica website or ask your Pharmacist about prolong use.
