HI can we open our app without tapping it again on its home icon.
I am making a call in a addressbook app and when call is made than it call the phone app than is it possible after calling we can call our app again without tapping on it after the call...

a) Your app is running, and it causes a phone number to be dialed .

I have a UITableView with two custom cells and each of them has a subview with a UITextField inside it. I have tried adding a UIButton on top of the UITableView and have it resignFirstResponder but that just means you won't be able to tap anywhere else...

There is an option there to turn off iPod controls .
The behavior of the double-click of the Home button is controlled by the system preference in your iPhone settings under General -> Home .

Whenever I double-tap the Control ( Ctrl ) or Command ( ⌘ ) keys, the current window is minimised into the dock. Annoying as it's pretty easy to trigger this completely undesired behaviour.

I don't believe there is a default time-limit - it's whatever "feels" right... .
On windows (and I'd guess most other systems) this is a system settings so you should look for an API that returns this .
