Tap water usually contains lots of iron and minerals lead to sickness.
The pipes from the tap water is really dirty because people don't have been) filtered many times and purified.
I think bottled water is better.

Manc tap water is fine to drink and ....
Brums tap water is disgusting.
Filtered tap water, best of both worlds.
My vote = tap water.

Just wondering since ro water is supossed to come out pure if you need to add anything back to it or mix it with a bit of tap water? Not sure if it makes any difference but I ei dose daily.

I am afraid of someday having my pH rise and kill my (future) CRS from using tap water continuously for water changes.
My tap water is:
pH: 7.4
GH: 5
KH: 5
If my pH rises over time would that be the end for my shrimps? Thanks.

It wont kill you but they do put chemicals in the water less chemicals the better (keep it natural) Most australian tap water is good for you, it has-filters.
It's so scary.
And exciting, I drink tap water.
