Lubricate the tap with some oil or grease, and screw the tap one....
Aluminium is easy to work with, so don't worry about that .
Drill through holes small.
The ones you've linked to are probably fine.
Both the taper and bottoming tap.

One lets you know if the TAP works with the original UK firmware, which has some very specific issues to do of the ones we do have are in different places....
Not exactly; this is why we have two separate indicators in the TAP database here.
