The club doesn't have any target stands to use so a few of these in the back of the SUV will be greatJust a suggestion-you may want to drill some holes in order to stake the stand in case of wind like I did with some of the thinner....

I made these recently, and I am very pleased with them. The pipe is all 2" PVC. The wood pieces came from moulding section at Home Depot. Home Depot also sells cardboard boxes, which I used for the backing. I didn't screw in the upright pieces of pipe...

Got the Wayne Taylor stands from Charlie at St. Louis Stereo. They look sweet and sound even better w the Harbeths.
Have a pair of Target 23" stands cheap. $100. About half filled with sand. They need a little touching up but nothing a can of flat black...

Used to use these on my Mission stand mounts to great effect but no need for them now. Spikes in the top but not the base (I used blu tack to couple to the floor and not sure where they are now to be honest).
