Hello, I am new to this forum. I pulled out a small collection I had as a kid to sell. I have been selling some of my older coins on ebay with no problem. As I started going through the 'newer' coins (1945+), I have noticed that many of my proof coins...

And darn right they should tarnish the 'image.' We ought to be so fed up with the lot of them.
Americans have always thought they were rubbish party.
Libbers have no worthwhile image to tarnish.

If you do so to chrome on brass, chances are you will make the problem worse, quickly..

Rust forms on steel; tarnish on silver.
Determine what you have.

The one downside of having gold is that it does tarnish rather quickly. I knew this was coming, but now it's time to take action and I was wondering if any of you gold users might have suggestions. Thanks.

I think the manufacturer should provide detailed information....
If that is the case...
I didn't know the gold hardware tarnished.
I don't really do anything else to it, but would love to hear other suggestions .
I just wipe mine down with a cotton cloth.

I've pollished this teaspoon repeatedly, with both Maas and Wright's. The white sponge from the Wright's gets darkened, but it does not seem to budge the tarnished spots. Here are two examples:
The bowl.
The finial is much worse.
Thank you for any help...

If not, my favorite & store in an airtight chest, silver/sterling... .
If you've got a wheel & buffing compound it's quick work.
Familiar with the chemistry behind silver tarnish & removal but believe that to be boring but it may take a l ng time.

Hi everyone,
I saw a David Yurman cable bracelet in DY store last week and now can't stop thinking about it. It is a 7 mm cable bracelet in sterling silver with onyx.

But if you decide it's worth the effort.
Also, after relatively quickly, no matter how good and careful a job I did.
Surface, because a lot of that tarnish is under the coating and won't just polish off.
