Plus, they are just as expensive as the laser removal.

Doesn't work on colors and doesn'....
Quick tip: Laser surgery for tattoos hardly ever removes the tattoo 100%.
Getting a cover-up tattoo would be cutting out.
I'd spring for the extra for quality.
If it gets botched....ouch.

It worked for the one I wanted gone, so that's all the first hand I have, but I'm pretty sure it could be "burnt" off using a well placed ... .
As long as you don't have "keloid" type skin reactions it doesn't scar up too bad .
I've used a soldering iron...
