Kristin, I have been off Taxol and on just Herceptin+Herceptin, then remained on Herceptin/Armidex/Zometa.

HI - I am Stage 1 Her2/neu and estrogen and progesterone positive. My oncologist recommended the 12 weeks taxol and herceptin. Has anyone had experience with the Penguin Cold Cap for this regimen? I would like to hear about your experience with your hair...

Any body having tykerb and taxol together, because herceptin stopped for the second time, but lots of shrinkage with lung mets on taxol .

Diagnosis: 8/4/2009, IBC, <1cm it with taxol which i am responding very well to, the cocktail is ususally with tykerb in xeloda so i will know in a couple if weeks....
It also stopped working for me.
The Herceptin stopped working for you.

I had on Taxol and Herceptin....
I kept using all the nausea meds, 0/5 nodes, ER+/PR+, HER2- I found the weekly taxol, 3 weekly herceptin much easier than AC.
I didn't have Herceptin, but I did have Taxol.
A lot of weight.

She had a rough go with the AC but is doing better now .

I am grateful we now have Herceptin! I had pre surgery Taxol, after DD A/C, and after the taxol and herceptin every week for 12 weeks.
As metastatic disease 9 years later.

I was switched from docetaxel every 3 weeks (after the first tx), to taxol every week for 9 weeks because the SEs all but killed me with the first dose of docetaxel, my onco said it would be a lower dose and the SEs should be minimal.
