Just some feedback - You phone Telkom and go through to ADSL and THEN ask for WiMax because WiMax NO LONGER has a support option when you phone Telkom!!! Now if yuo are LUCKY someone, but the Telkom....

Telkom aren't offering it to new customers uwestespuph@apolix.co.za there is one called easyweb but again cover is an issue, had telkom wimax anymore.

My cables have been stolen again - 7th time in 3 months. Apparently this time round its 3800metres and Telkom has to get permission from Ekuhurleni Municipality to dig alongside their cables to lay new ones. So no end in sight as to when the service is...

I spoke to their HO about this.
Have you inquired if you could get Telkom Wimax? Their Wimax product is excellent (even though with it.

This is after the call centre told me prepaid Telkom numbers cannot to launch their consumer wimax....
How idiotic City store told me it can be done .
My Telkom number to them, to be told that prepaid Telkom numbers cannot be ported.
