I've recently been offered a 6 month contracted programming position with a company through a temp agency. I've never done business through a temp agency and am wondering what questions I should ask when I speak with them.

I applied to about 5 temp agencies when I first arrived in Arizona...They never had any of the jobs they advertised, don't rag on Office Team, they are just like every other temp agency..full of crap!

Temp agencies will send you on an assignment and not tell you exactly when it will end. They will simply call you on the phone at home, after 5 p.m., and tell you not to go back the next day. This is now standard procedure at most temp agencies.

I am keeping in touch with my agencies who helped me find a permenant position, but i now have 6 weeks to fill before i start it.

Lots of agencies don't advertise most/any of their temp abdel so I would bug Service found me my current....
No I haven't but I do know that with many agencies temp roles go before they are advertised so my amount of work though.
