"Prefetch" & Superfetch I believe Prefetch was created for Win XP and Superfetch was an improvement for Vista.
In my Win 7 registry I have Prefetcher and Superfetch. Notice the different spellings for each? One is followed by er but not the other.

Relance l'ordi et vérifie que Prefetch existe.
Laisse bosser l'ordi 10 mn.
Peu plus de temps à se lancer mais mon fichier Prefetch ne devient pas une poubelle !
Par contre il advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks.

In WindowsXP there is Temp folder in C drive where most of the .tmp files are stored. I usually open the folder and delete the files there before shutting down the PC. In Win7 I am not able to find where the temporary...

I just noticed that the Temp folder in
C:\Documents and Settings\This user\Local Settings
is about half a Gig.
Can I empty this (I think I can)? Space is important, as I have only 32mb of solid state drive.

j'ai un ami qui m'a conseillé de vider regulierement les fichiers temporaires %temp%
je voudrais savoir si on peut effectivement faire cette manoeuvre sans avoir a la suite des problemes...
