Hello all friends. I want to use Delphi to create a program that controls the fan speed of my computer and monitors the temperature.
What API calls are involved in doing that?
Are there any good code samples that you can share?

You can use WMI to gain access to the fan speed (and other statistics such as temperature).

57° C is Ok.
Generally it's the temperature of the CPU.
It's probably a setting in the bios.

Hi, i have an 07 Escalade ESV and my climate control temperature has an issue. even if i put the temp setting to 76 hot air doesn't come from the vents. for some reason it doesn't want to heat up the car anymore. haven't tried the ac temps. is it my thermostat...

I could see it being a problem with the temperature sensor if you were using Auto, but if you aren't getting heat in manual....
temperature on your dash gauge, and didn't overheat or stay abnormally cool, then it isn't your engine thermostat.

I’m not familiar with Tekmar controls.
Was reading a lot of good stuff on them on this forum, but I do have a question I don’t know the answer to.
Is there a TEKMAR control or product that can be used as wood boiler return water temperature protection...

Just started setting up my Apex on my new 65g tank, and I'm wondering how tightly you control your temperature. It seems like you could easily maintain a range of 0.5 F or less, but is it worth it?
Also, do you rely on the heater for the general control...

I have my Apex control my heater....
I also use the season table so my overall temperature.
Then set the heater just switching them on and off doesn't really matter .
I use the Apex for primary heater control high and low.
My range is .4 F.

I have my motherboard using oc genie II 4.2 ghz. temperature is 69c in bios. Control panel says 52c idle. I don't know which temperature to go by.
My computer will every once in awhile lock up then take me to msi window screen saying checking security...

I've just bought this kit, http://www.heat4jackets.com/index.html . A question for you all, what is the best method to control it, if it gets too hot?
1) Pull the plug out of the socket. (Tedious)
2) Wire ina switch. (slightly less tedious)
3) Fit a potentiometer...

Combined with a shitebag ( gaucho) it worked well enough .
The advantage a chilli clothing temperature thermostat.
All I know is that the max setting is approx 4 amps .
To control their heated grips.

1. My blower motor only works at the highest speed setting,
2. My buttons for switching the place where the air comes out don't seem to work (only blows on windshield), and
3. The tempurature seems to be stuck at the warmest setting.
Car is a 1994 740...
