What shoes are Tennis shoes? They specifically requested that we don't wear Running Shoes.? I am starting Tennis lessons next week and the email wrote that we shouldn't wear running shoes as they leave mark on the courts.

Tennis shoes are made of more durable rubber, usually shoes.
They are tough to remove.

Plebes are issued dorky looking, but actually pretty good, New Balance running shoes.
They can be pretty much anything or whatever are fine .
You can and definitely should bring in broken in running shoes.

I am going to be playing on clay courts over most of the summer and need new tennis shoes but after that i will be playing on only hard courts. Therefore, I am looking for a durable shoe that can be worn on both clay and hard courts. Any ideas?
