Music and Musicians seems to have passed away, or I can't find it.
This evening we heard Colin Lee, a tenor we hadn't heard before, as Tonio in Fille du Regiment at ROH. FdR isn't much of an opera, G & S did it better, but it is worth going to just to...

At the CES I did one lecture in a big room that was powered with small Tenor tubed amps from Canada. After the show I remarked (to no one in particular) that I loved the system and that the amps didn't "sag" when we blasted out some of the key music that...

Just saw Spinella's show in Sarasota and it was mesmerizing. No one wanted to leave and everyone asked for encores. He is so versatile. He did Broadway tunes, Pop tunes, and operatic arias.
