As far as I can tell, TX is a great state to be a resident, so I'd try to stay there. The numerous public schools coupled with very low in-state tuition probably make it one of the best states for med school application purposes. source

Somewhat less than 30 per cent chance to beat Florida. Don't fool yourself, Texas Defense not that great, Else Muschamp would have been a head coach at LSU, Bama or Auburn. source
