I've tried it and don't care much for it....
That's what I'm using but it runs really slow sometimes and crashes so I'm looking for one that doesn't do that and runs better According to reviews, the best one is TextPlus Silver .
I liked Textfree with Voice.

Mike You can override any actual text messaging app just by blocking texting here at Sprint.com there is a hidden text app called " invisible".
