I like the looks of vintage Pierce Chronographs and would like to get one in good condition to go with my WW2 pilot watches but how do I find which ones are WW2 vintage?
They have serial numbers on the caseback, is there a number/production date list...

Does anyone have any opinions why there are so many more Packards and Pierce-Arrows around than Peerlesses?
As near as I can tell, the ratio is 5,000 Packards to 1,900 Pierce-Arrows to 319 Peerlesses.

Have the numbers, but would guess that Packard outsold Pierce for most all years of production, and then of course, in 1938 Pierce made a handful of cars before shutting down, Packard made 2500 Senior their production numbers were under....

You could also pierce the tape to suggest? Find some with red in and away you go, should look scale too.
Paint adheres and dries well, though not permanent.
