Install the mini-mill....
You'll need guide point.
Several ways to do it, but since you have a mini-mill, I'd use the mini for the 1st cut.
XP with a 24" bar, and have both the standard Granberg Alaskan Mill, and the mini-mill.
I'm looking to buy a hobby cnc mill to play with. Will the Taig do small molds? Maybe something like this? Any time estimates on making a small mold like this?

5) add extra handles to the mill or wrap handle on the saw so your arms are not spread apart....
3 and sharpen or change chains often.
You should not have to bend over significantly or mill on your knees.
In as standing a position as possible.

I don't think work envelope.
On the other hand, a couple of things I've done with it would have been quite difficult to do with a vertical mill.
I find it a bit fiddly to set up compared to a vertical mill.

Thanks The P228 with a stainless milled slide is called a P229.
Rather have a milled slide.
