When he asked me I just told him to go with all 5000K, but I have been reading that if you have the higher PAR readings of the 10,000K bulbs and the 5000K bulbs will give you less PAR I just want to make sure I have the sufficient lighting....

Hey guys, I know this is a Mazda3 Fourm but I cant find much info on this for the new Volvo S40. I want to put HID's in, But I dont know If I should go for 5000K or 6000K. I want to know if there is anydown side of the 6000K? Will this cause any problem...

I have 5000k on my car: from: Mazda_3some 5000k ....
5000k will look yellow/white and light as good as a 5000k kit but looks a little better because it's bluer/whiter.
From my knowledge 6000k will give off a stronger blue tint .

55w 4500k look whiter than stock and 5000k look bluer.
Should've gone 8k for the hi end euro look...any? I wanted to come close to matching .
5000k 55w is slightly bluer than stock headlights.

Just swapped mine out for some V-LED 2 watt 5000k LEDs! Got my knuckles a little scraped up trying to cram my hands into the passenger side lights though .
Other than that it was pretty smooth. I did by accident pull out the high beams the first time!...
