Looks as though the Dreamliners will be coming into service next year - wonder what or if that will have any impact on future cruise destinations for Thomson (I hope so - could be quite exciting - at least more exciting than 'Platinum'!)

Does anyone have any idea what the thomsons 787's are going to be like ? just wondering if its going to be better flying thomsons or virgin to florida next year. if we went thomsons we could go PE but virgin want circa 5k for PE so its not going to happen...

Thomson certainly have more legroom in economy for Longhaul than BA with the original tail plane....
thomsons before so not really sure what they are like anyone offer any insight ? I am not sure Thomson get the same service as now.

Thomson will be the first UK operator of the 787 in May 2013 and have today revealed a revised livery and cabin interiors. No great shakes on the livery, a bit better than all over Tui blue I suppose...

I think it is a very nice colour, at least better than all the white designs lately... .
It looks like a copy of Monarch's, just in shades of blue? I like in marketing might be confused there? Nice looking plane.

Hi all
Looking to book flights for next may want to travel on the Dreamliner with Thomson.
Anyone know if the planes likely to be delayed? Or if I can tell it is supposed to be on the Dreamliner before I book.

We fly on June 27th from Manchester and have been told we are guaranteed to fly on The Dreamliner,i believe they cold have had them this year,but delayed delivery this year so they can start the season with them next year! I'm very jealous, we're flying... .

Not their fault :( Even so, their planes are still great with plenty leg room.
Except they put us on a small plane on the way out as ours was grounded the day before.

I much prefer the FC planes and all our Thomson flights had been these until last year when it....
But if it's a Thomson plane (not sure of plane type but sure someone will know) there are only 5 rows of premier seating.

We have been to Egypt 6 times now I simply wouldn't fly with Thomson let....
Travelling to Egypt soon on a Thomas Cook flight and I understand they are even worse than Thomson long haul planes for it but it's all about cost I suppose.
