I need help getting my throttle cable out the carb or swivel.please help ASAP

I undo the throttle cable at the lever, hold it so it doesn't come back out, and just pull it out should I do? Pull the cable out of the throttle lever...so it's not connected...hold the end where cable end on the carb....

Not to sound like an idiot, but I was watching YouTube and some guy did a throttle cable mod that made his 0-60 times better and overall better throttle response, yet he never explained what he did. My question is what is the throttle cable mod and does...

Look for throttle cable mod in the tech library and yes it helps throttle response On some Rangers the throttle cable is too long and the throttle butterfly won't open all the way even with the gas peddle pressed....

We swapped to that on my friends Peakboost dc5 is the ep3 cable easy to install? sounds like a good idea I've heard 94-01 integra gsr cables also work) is the ep3 cable....
throttle cable is a few feet shorter than the dc5.

Did the factory install throttle cables in some trucks. I mean a cable mounted in the dash that goes to the carb to help with cold weather starting. I've been searching here without finding anything. I have a choke cable in my truck. No hole in the dash...

This isn't brain surgery, but Nifty50 suggested I post these pix in case they're helpful. The throttle cable goes in the half of the handlebar "switch" that faces forward (the one with the mirror).
In the other half I cut a roughly 1' section of cable...

Grab the cable and the pedal assembly and see how it was originally installed.
I used a gas pedal, Eliminator-with rubber from Yogi's and a throttle cable wrecker ....
That WILL come apart.

You may need to drill out the bottom hole a bit Carb from the intake side... .
It does seem that if I bought this kit and the cable attachment that hooks onto the throttle cable.
With little holes in it the does move the throttle.
