Some of you may have seen or already in a crazy 180+ people group buy for OEM 80 series Hand Throttle. I was surprised when I found out that 99% of 100 series came without this nice feature in the whole world.

Does anyone have a series three with a hand throttle fitted.
I want to fit one to my vehicle and I know they are different to the earlier series 2, 2A hand throttles.
I believe that they fit straight onto the bulkhead below the dash!

Coarse setting of the hand throttle is done by adjusting the position of the arm that turns the....
The linkage rod from the hand throttle acts on the stop lifting it as the hand throttle is advanced.

Is it possible to fit a hand throttle to a new Defender? Will it act as a quasi cruise control?
May be a less precise but way cheaper alternative to an aftermarket electronic control.
Any advice would be appreciated.
