So I have multiple firefox profiles running with the -no-remote option to keep my things seperate etc.
The problem is that in all but the main profile I cant click a link and have a functional thunderbird window that will send, if I dont have thunderbird...

I usually backed up my Thunderbird data with MozBackup ( http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com Settings > Local directory....
You may be able to just send for Thunderbird .
Thunderbird stores mail in mbox format, which is pretty universal.

Attempting to sync TB with Dropbox. Copied all my Thunderbird stuff from:

Thunderbird updated to 3.1.2. Sent messages no longer show in Sent folder. Also, sent folder takes forever to open.

Sent messages were being saved to the folder Sent but on gmail, not Thunderbird profiles.

I want to completely restrict access to TBird. I know about the master Password but this does not go far enough. Unauthorised people can still read my old mail.
