Thyroid and Medication questions I have been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Has anyone ever had to deal with this and breastfeeding? I was also prescribed a beta-blocker, Toprol. I see an endocrinologist in a few weeks to see the treatment for the thyroid...

Hi there,
So, I had some blood work done before I see my endocrinologist in two weeks. Well, today I get a call to reduce my medication dose again!! And, I don't have to do the fasting blood work on Thursday because she (my MD) says I don't need it anymore...

Within a week of starting medicationMid 30s female here, on hypothyroidism medication for 7 1/2 years now, levothyroxine for the past 4, and that's it.

My wife has been taking Amour Thyroid Medication for many years. Now
today our Walgreen's Pharmacy told her that Amour Thyroid is no longer
available.

BTW -- make sure you take that thyroid medication every day - it won't when I take the selenium consistently....
