Timney Triggers?
I know this is not technically suppose to go under rifles but since I want to only put it on rifles I placed it in this category. How would you guys recommend them for any rifles? Do they make them for pistols? I'm thinking of putting...

If it was a tie I was going with Timney anyway, but it was close.
I was going to buy a Geissele trigger, but then I ran into the owner of Timney trigger pull, excellent reset.
On M16-A2s, which were worse.

I have to Remingtons with the X Mark Pro trigger system. I have heard that the trigger can break at the screw. I was thinking of replacing both triggers with aftermarkets. How are the Timney Triggers and the best place to buy them? Which Timney triggers...

I've had seral Timney triggers on many Mauser 98's, and they to me are worth the money. They have however like most things gotten much more expensive. To me they are worth the money.

I've also had Timney triggers on 700's, and while they might not be quite as crisp, a Jewell isn't $100 crisper....
I've had Jewell triggers on Remington 700's, and they're great triggers.

Timney says the trigger cannot move when on safe. Should eliminate inadvertent sear disengagement. They come with safety or w/o and you transfer the safety from your Remington trigger.
Timney has installation instructions on their site. Worth reading ...

Guide gun, it already has a WWG trigger Back in the day, Timney made a trigger for the 1640 (HVA $100, I'll spend $250 to get something I'm truly happy with.

I traded for a 700 a while back. I was messing with it in the garage the other day and experienced the issue that generated the recall. Cocked, moved on then off safety. Hammer dropped! Did that twice but could not get it to repeat after 30 or 40 cycles...

I've heard good things about Jewell and Shilen triggers, but my experienceThumbs up for Timney from....
But for what a Timney costs the same trigger again.
I've done trigger jobs myself, even did a good job on some.

I have the newer style AICS stock and want a timney #510 trigger, i know the earlier AICS stock you had to do a little modification to get the trigger to work do you still have to modify for the new stock? Remington 700 action

The issue with a Timney trigger in an aics is completely different earlier.
Had trigger can easily do at home.
If Timney didnt want that protruding bar on their trigger they'd file it off for you.
Done right.

Just bought a remington 700 with remingtons adjustable trigger. Is there a big difference between this and the timney trigger. How hard would it be to replace this with a timney trigger? The remington trigger dosent feel consistent to me.
