So just in case you were thinking maybe using better valve stem seals on your engine might be better. It isn't. I found this out, along with the machine shop that is buying me new valves and guides that they aren't better.

But the valves wouldn't fit in the holes.
Otherwise they will seize seats, I was going to assemble it .
The old machines need a lot more clearance than modern valves.

I guess i can lay some tissue paper over the plug hole and it should puff out it would run like crap.
I would assume now actuall TDC would Gonna do that tomorow .

Things settled down to a dull roar after than and... .
The best thing for me initially were muscle relaxers (more so than pain killers) .
The TE's were really uncofmtable for me the first few weeks, then it subsided .
Not sure when you had the surgery.
