I just found two of my tomato plants nibbled down quite a bit. I suspect
tomato worms. We had these two years ago, but didn't seem to have a problem
last year.

I found directions for home made earth box type planters and decided to give it a try and made a couple for the fall crop of tomatoes. They are great, I only need to put water in about once a week and they hardly need any then. Hopefully I'll get some...

The plants that have produced the best are a patio tomato variety to used some tomato specific....
I have since harvested the corn, just in time, seems the worms know when it gets ripe done OK for the shade they are in.
And an egg plant.

No, the cricket's diet is greens, including fresh seedlings, garden fruits , tomatoes etc. Sometimes insects smaller than ants .
